Mountains… and Whales.

It’s not a bad life to have all of these sights within 20 minutes of opening the hanger doors.

The weather admittedly is not all that kind to us in the winter but when high pressure pushes in there are some truly incredible benefits to coastal living. As a club we really are fortunate to have all of this in our “backyard”. Recently a few of our members took a flight over local Mount Arrowsmith and then westward onto Barkley Sound. The combination of recent big low pressure systems dumping snow on peaks and a few resident Humpback Whales made for some good photography.
